Villains! Today, we offer you a story about the Gargoyle Story. We hope, that each and everyone of you finds these articles interesting and learn something new from them. Gargoyle - Guardian of Darkness... ******************************* There are creatures the essence and purpose of which has changed greatly over the past centuries. So, with the advent of the Gothic architectural style, the attitude towards the gargoyles changed - they became the guardians of the temples, preventing the evil force from penetrating into the abode of God. Silent statues crowning cathedrals and temples vigilantly keep their watch. Gargoyles are almost always depicted as anthropomorphic (human-like) creatures that have leathery wings, sharp claws and strange heads. Often they are confused with harpies. A distinctive feature of gargoyles is their ability to turn into a stone and wake up from it. In fact, any statue can be a gargoyle, because these creatures are just stone sculptures that have awakened to life through their will (and never a stranger - otherwise it is not a gargoyle). Having received serious wounds, the creature turns into a stone and becomes almost invulnerable, very quickly regenerating under a dense layer of the outer shell. Outside the stone, the gargoyles have the usual gray skin, similar to the human skin. Gargoyles hate all living things. Without regret, with extreme cruelty, with their sharp claws and teeth, they can tear people into pieces. More than humans, gargoyles hate other creatures. Demons, devils, ghosts, vampires - all of these creatures cause out of control gargoyles aggression. But there are mentions that gargoyles sometimes ally with other creatures. For example, gargoyles that protect the peace of a cemetery can easily enter into an alliance with bone hounds, since they pursue common goals and are immune to the abilities of most undead species. Gargoyles that protect temples often serve angels for unknown reasons. Perhaps the answer to this riddle lies in the origin of the gargoyles. The person creating the statue gives it shape. But for the statue to become a gargoyle someone must fill this form, bring the force that will take it. It is possible that people unconsciously let gargoyles into their bodies, but angels and cemetery creatures do this consciously, creating powerful guards. Be that as it may, mighty gargoyles are on the side of people, pursuing and destroying other creatures that may be too dangerous for mere mortals. Hurry up to the game
