Heroes! With Gem Crush drawing closer to release, we wanted to revisit its journey so far with you. When we first explored the idea of Gem Crush, we had an additional goal "Turn Legendary into a puzzle game again, where your matching skill mattered just as much as your Heroes." In the initial design for Gem Crush, we focused on making the puzzle board feel like a puzzle again, and ran three focused playtests with a small group of players as well as one much larger playtest t...hat some of you may have been a part of. You, the players, told us that we weren't going in the right direction deck building is the true puzzle of Legendary, and adding randomly - appearing Gem combinations to the board just got in the way of that. This conflicted with goal of making Gem matching matter again, and something had to change. So we threw out that goal and redesigned Gem Crush to focus on strategic deck building! We drastically changed course based on your feedback, and we want to thank you for working together with us to get to a better outcome. The Gem Crush you'll play in the next few weeks is about making deck building more interesting again, by creating a world where you can create even more powerful gems by using the right Heroes in the right order. It's not about changing the game you know and love. Rather, it's about adding more exciting moments to your already amazing decks, and making them feel more powerful than before. The long - dormant volcano known as Mount Agony, found in the far east reaches of Korelis, has recently surged with life. Fire - blessed beings from all four corners of Korelis made the treacherous journey inside the boiling hot core of the mountain. Once there, they descended deep into the lava flows, and emerged further empowered by the embers within. Mt. Agony had called to her 'children' to rise in her defense - Terrain of Terror was a nearby mountain that gained sentience and wanted nothing more than to envelop Mt. Agony in smothering rock and moss. The war against Terrain of Terror begins, and Garlodon the Glorious, Molten Serpica and the King of Cinders all smolder with rage, ready to fight for Mt. Agony.

Heroes of Legendary! We have some updates to Slayer Events, starting this week! In an effort to keep Raid Boss lists in a constant state of activity, Solo bosses have had their flee times adjusted. Prestige Up bosses will now flee if not defeated within 20 minutes of their spawning. Other Solo bosses will flee between 45 minutes to 1 hour of their spawning if not defeated in combat during that time.... There's this & more (Haste Skill has returns) so head on over to the in game newsfeed for the finer details!

Astral Armageddon A great war is raging among the stars that surround Korelis. Although the battle is barely perceptible to those on the surface, the fate of the universe hangs in the balance. Algor Blackstar has formed out of the dead stars and vaporous miasma of the cosmos, with a mind bent solely on destruction. All sentient beings in the universe must give thanks to three dragons formed from light and the promise of life Luppitor the Chosen, Venusia, Brightest Being and ...Radiant Saturnatus. These three sentries defend their planetary strongholds so that someday life may bloom there anew. If Algor Blackstar is not stopped, the entirety of the universe will be consumed by his heaving emptiness and all light will be extinguished. Without light, life on Korelis will surely perish.

In the land of sleep, three sage beings guard the dreams & fantasies of Korelis's heroes. The world they inhabit was once known as The Void, but the wishes and imagination of dreamers have created a beautiful albeit surreal landscape. Once there were four guardians of dreams, but Eldrikka the spider was corrupted by greedy nightmares and had become an abominable Dreameater. Eldrikka's sole desire is to absorb every dream, stealing them away from those that need them to go on ...living so that she can become more powerful. If Eldrikka succeeds in her mission, the vivid world of dreams will once again become The Void. The people of Korelis will lose all of their dreams and become sleepless, soulless husks with no goals or visions. The remaining three dream guardians, Droom Enigma, Illusive Alasia, and the Hypnagogic Humanoid must stop Dreameater Eldrikka before she destroys fantasy itself

Hello Heroes! Here are some updates to Crusade Events, starting with this event. Players will find dramatically more Guild Boss Keys and Guild Boss Key Gifts. Special Enemies in missions have had their Guild Boss Key related drops increased, and missions will drop additional Guild Boss Keys, increasing as the missions level grows. Mission waves and Solo bosses have had their difficulty adjusted. Many Season Quests which require Guild and Solo Boss participation have had the...ir quantities rebalanced. Chupacabra Carnage The Legendary 2020 Tag - Team Tournament was in the final round and the reigning champions had delivered a beatdown to all the rising stars who tried to throw them from the ring. As the final bell rang out and Abalanzo, Nahuatl, and El Toro returned to the center stage to receive their championship belt, the audience's cheers began to turn into screams of fright. The defeated monster - stylized wrestler Chupacabrador had transformed into a truly hideous beast; the fabled Chupacabra! With his mask hanging off his face, exposing a now hideous maw of snapping razor - sharp teeth, the Uncaged Chupacabrador rampaged through the audience.

Heads up, heroes! This week, Expedition and VIP head start rewards will contain bonus Event Map Keys and Evolution coin Crates in place of some of the normal rewards. Don't worry, Boss Levels and other progression - based rewards will return shortly to Crusade Expeditions. It's time to get cracking on your head start! As a reminder, the previously mentioned changes to Crusade Events are starting with this coming event, hence the temporary change to Expedition Collection rewa...rds.
