Welcome back to Guild Spotlight! Were shining the spotlight on some of the finest guilds who get together and jump into battle in Legendary. This week, we take a look at the young guns who call themselves the Tombstone Saints. JoshG1 entered Legendary with two years of leadership experience in another game. So it didn't take long for him to take charge with the Tombstone Saints. Coming in with council experience from another guild, JoshG1 quickly found himself leading a dyi...ng guild which he then left to create Tombstone Saints, a place he could set his own rules. The Tombstone Saints have built a reputation as a hitters guild, one able to draw rallies from all over. Theyre recognized across Legendary circles for their ability to mow down bosses. Theyre also known for their propensity for movie quotes, specifically Boondock Saints, which helped inspire the guild name. The Tombstone Saints wont be going on any recruiting drives, but they are always looking to add to their posse. If youre over Level 4 you might have what it takes. If youre a driven newcomer, you might also have a chance. The guild focuses on GvG and while GvGvparticipation is their only real requirement, team members are welcome to approach events at their own pace. JoshG1 has enjoyed his time as a guild leader, but being a devoted GL means working to find a window for personal time. Hell often log in for 7 hours a week to play and assist the rest of the Tombstone Saints. Fortunately, hes recruited a strong council that has allowed him to reclaim some of his personal time. JoshG1 advises any potential GL to recruit a trusted council, one who can help with recruiting, deck building, organization, and more. Get yourself a virtual family to rely on. Some events can be brutal and JoshG1 remembers a specific one where he took one for the team. He recalls a recent Earth Slayer event, where he was one of the only people with the event deck. In an effort to keep his guild mates from burning out against a monstrous boss, JoshG1 encouraged them to get some rest. Meanwhile, he used their offline time to hit the guild bosses as hard as he could in order to get the guild to Prestige 4. Its part of JoshG1s effort to keep his virtual family healthy and sane. Unwelcome Return In an icy mountain kingdom three beastly tribes lived in relative peace, ruled over by a benevolent king. When the wise monarch passed away leaving his throne unattended, the three tribes sent their champions to the castle to convene and discuss their next steps. These warriors were Tejar, Ironclad Sentinel, Otavalo the Huntsman, and Dominator Vadim. As they entered the majestic antechamber in the frozen tundra, they were surprised to see many of the royal ic...e sculptures melted into nothing more than scant puddles. On the king's throne sat his hateful son, the exiled prince of the icy mountain Barbarous Prince Orland. With a sinister smile Orland said he was back to claim what was rightfully his - but the three champions recalled the cruelty inflicted upon their people by Orland when he was prince. Tejar, Otavalo, and Vadim could not let him reign again -and so they steeled themselves up for a great battle in the melting throne room.

Heroes! We've made several changes to the weekly Slayer event over the past months, and have been listening very carefully to player feedback. This update to Slayer is a result of that feedback We're bringing the Prestige system back but in a brand new way that caters to all types of players. We noticed that in recent Slayer events, players were not served Bosses that matched their capabilities. It was easy to feel like you either hit a wall in the event, or that bosses were... simply not challenging. In all, those experiences made it feel less fun to continue playing. That just wasn't great for anyone. So starting with next week's Slayer event, the Prestige system will make a return - this time for individual players! Deadly Lessons Whispered among practitioners of unarmed combat in Meido is a famous tale; one that tells of an arcane and deadly technique, and how those that master it become corrupted by the power. Gram had long ago opened a remote training facility for the most talented in Meido to hone their skills. His pupils were unique, each of them having discovered fiery strength within their physical forms. However, Gram himself was without such extraordinary power.... His star students - Saori, Ivan, and Kristoffer - respected their master greatly, and felt guided by his genius hand as they developed their own talents independently. However their adulation was not enough for Gram; he had grown jealous of his students and their otherworldly abilities. In the empty classroom, the jilted teacher shouted to any listening spirit how he would sell his soul to learn the deadliest technique, the one whispered about by his past students. When Saori, Ivan, and Kristoffer piled into the classroom for their morning lesson they found their teacher uncharacteristically silent. As an unearthly glow began to surround Gram, he cackled wickedly from deep in his throat. His students did not understand, but knew the teacher they once loved was gone; and in his place was an inhumane, powerful force that had to be stopped.

Welcome back to Guild Spotlight! Were shining the spotlight on some of the finest guilds who get together and jump into battle in Legendary. This week, by Odins beard, were taking a look at Thors Nightmare. Thors Nightmare has been around for two years and thats how long SilkD has served as its Guild Leader. Following a schism with a previous guild, SilkD sided with his exiled brethren and was soon asked to put together a new guild. It was something that came spontaneo...usly and the group came together in such a way that members of their previous guild soon came along for the ride. Now Thors Nightmare is a united force. Thors Nightmare engages in all sorts of Legendary activities, including GvG and TPG. Of course, guilds are at their best when everybody is at their best and SilkD admits that one of his biggest challenges as a Guild Leader is keeping everyone on the same page with minimal conflict. While it may prove tough sometimes, it does not stop SilkD and Thors Nightmare from aiming to put up their best results in whatever they play. A guild is only strong for as long as it is united, but also for as long as its members are engaged. So SilkD wants to remind everyone to treat everyone kindly, reminding people that Legendary players are voluntarily investing time (and sometimes money) into the game. Cosmic Constriction Across the cosmos neighboring planets awoke in pure darkness. The black sky that hung above them seemed to be inexplicably drawing nearer, threatening to crush them. As the helpless souls on the surface cried desperately, the monstrous serpent that had encircled their planets reared back and hissed. The inky black of the vast and uncaring universe had taken shape, and the serpent Loathsome Beithir was born of that purest darkness. Happy Friday Heroes! Next week, collect many more Heroes and Relics with a massive expansion to your inventory! The current limits for Hero and Relic inventories are 810 and 390 respectively. With this update, your inventory can expand to accommodate up to 4000 Heroes and 4000 Relics! The price of expanding your Hero Inventory will be reduced by 80% and will cost 100 gems for 25 Hero slots. Any player who has purchased inventory space previously will reap all benefits of the ...new inventory expansion. The gems that you have already spent on inventory expansion will be applied at the new reduced price point, so your inventory will automatically be much larger! Happy collecting!

Guild Spotlight War Beasts (rec.) It's International Women's Day 2020 and we wanted to shine a spotlight on one of the most prominent guilds in Legendary Game of Heroes - War Beasts (rec.)! War Beasts is currently led by the player KTC Esquire, who tells us that three out of the four leaders the guild has had have been women, and that all four guilds currently in the alliance (War Beasts rec./2/3 and WarZ) are also all led by women. Managing a top guild is no easy feat, so ...for International Women's Day 2020, we sat down with KTC Esquire to learn just how War Beasts stays on top! Balancing differing interests in the guild is something KTC Esquire finds the most challenging about leading the guild. "Often in War Beasts we find ourselves in a position where players may want [to use] different strategies or tactics. Or you develop a close relationship with someone but having them in the guild may not be in the best interest of the team." The key there, according to her, is to do your best to "make the most people happy, because [at] the end of the day, it is a game that should be fun." And fun it is. "War Beasts is both crazy fun and crazy intense at the same time," KTC Esquire tells us. "While we certainly compete harder than most, the Frenzies are filled with 'Truth or Dare, 'Would You Rather', and the guild's favorite 'Secret for Secret', where they are allowed to ask [the] Council any question they want every time a Secret [boss] goes down." And speaking of the Council, KTC Esquire also advocates for having a great guild Council. "It's impossible for a guild leader to do everything. It is just too much, you will become resentful. My council is invaluable to me not only as a sounding board for ideas or questions, but also to divide the workload." War Beasts currently focuses exclusively on Commander weekly events and on Guild vs. Guild, after years of pushing hard in every event. The guild is always recruiting, with a specific eye for players who "don't take things too seriously" but who are also "respectful of each other and the team." KTC Esquire tells us that "Guild points are the only points that matter in War Beasts," and that "consistency is key." That same consistency is upheld in KTC Esquire's personal goal encouraging female gamers.Half of the guild's current members are women. She adds "At some point, I would like to see all the lady Beasts all play together to show the men who knows best." So would we, KTC! Happy International Women's Day 2020 to all Legendary women!
