Synth City Smackdown The glistening neon Synth City had once been a wasteland, home only to devilish barons and strong hearted rebels. Civilization had returned to the ruins, but underground something sinister was lurking. Reports had begun to trickle in that a monstrous lizard was emerging from the sewers at night to devour wayward citizens. A mandatory curfew was put in place for the people's safety, but the powers that be of Synth City were too unorganized to stop the crea...ture from terrorizing those who journeyed out at night. Abraxas the Swindler, the liberated android E.V.E. and Streetracing Frankie stood in a circle around the sewer grate. While many in town considered them miscreants, the three friends could not stand idly by while their fellow Synth City residents were eaten by some unknown beast. Clambering into the sewer one at a time in the dead of night, their bravery was unquestionable. Their likelihood of survival against the venomous Slithering Sinicroc however, was slightly less assured...

DRUIDIC DESPAIR In the dense mist of the Deepmoss Forest a druidic circle has formed. At its center Prophetess Tanera finishes her incantation. With their eyes shut the druids listen closely for the whispers of the woods, the sign of a successful ritual. This time however only silence falls across the land. The ritual had failed; the trees that surrounded the druids began to shake with such ferocity they were in danger of being uprooted, and Prophetess Tanera fell to her feet... staring up at the portal. No spirits of the woods had been summoned, instead through the opened gateway a wicked being had emerged. Prophetess Tanera quickly began to chant conjurations, calling out for the most powerful forest spirits she could summon to her aid. Soon the Prophetess and her closest ally, Stoneheart Soldier Yew, were joined by Hyperios the Resplendent, the very embodiment of the forest's power. The druids must battle for their lives against the Dimensional Devourer, an evil being from a far-off realm who wants to lay Deepmoss Forest to waste!

After some time away, were back! Welcome back to Guild Spotlight. Were here to showcase some of the finest guilds who get together to take up arms in Legendary. This week, were taking a look at the NBK ALL STARS. Founded by Fyre & Ice, this guild began as VV. They soon became Phoenix Rising, then became NBK. To stand out from other guilds, they are now NBK ALL STARS. Theyve only gotten stronger since joining up with INK, who NBK credits for making the guild better. NBK AL...L STARS focuses on all events across three Top 50 guilds, one Top 100 guild, and three more casual guilds. They always look out for each other, sparing players wherever they may be needed. Theyre always recruiting, but if you want in, you need a family mentality. Guild participation are what its all about. Fyre & Ice recalls needing to step away from GL duties briefly, greatly disappointing fellow guild mates. The guild hit some bumps in the road, but Fyre & Ice did return to Legendary as originally promised, with many other guild members also becoming active again. Loyalty is a big quality within NBK ALL STARS. "If you consider becoming a GL, remember. The guild owns you and relies on you. They are real people with real issues and real lives. Playing is their outlet. But never stand for crap. Be honest, straightforward, and sociable. They will come to you with their problems. I have 75 chats! But most of all, be a GL because you want to be a leader, not because you want the gems!" NBK ALL STARS is full of different people with different personalities, but it's a mix of personas that all get along together. It's a crew that Fyre & Ice has grown attached to, especially when she received a note from a fellow guild member that said they'd return after Fyre & Ice's hiatus. It's a crew that sticks together.

Children rushed to their parents seeking comfort, but they were unable to provide any in the shadow of the mysterious being. While the men and women of Korelis were shocked into inaction, the Magitech Golems awoke - t...he destined battle was about to begin. These magical mechs rose skyward, ready to meet the alien entity head-on; it was true, this was the A.R.K. they had been programmed to destroy centuries ago. As slack-jawed citizens watched on, the Magitech Golems took point, readying themselves for battle against the Avenging Ruinous Killer.

RISE OF THE ZODIAC The power bestowed upon Swinelord Junfa in the last year corrupted his mind as time went on. The Zodiac Kingdom was once again under the rule of a tyrant, and whispers among the citizenry began to speak of a group of strangers who were capable of ousting Swinelord Junfa. Living on the border of the Zodiac Kingdom, the Rat Clan had been outcasts for some years. Their strange mystical powers were frightening to the common people, and so the clan secreted the...mselves away in the mountains. However the clan's isolation meant that they could continue their magical practices and learn from their leader, Great Master Laoshu, in peace. When word reached the Rat Clan that Junfa had become a cruel despot, they decided to return to the Zodiac Kingdom to prove to the citizens they were both powerful and benevolent. Outside of Junfa's keep the warpig stands ready for battle, a great fire raging in his determined eyes. Little does Junfa know that the Rat Clan is more than ready to quell that inferno.

NITRO GRAND PRIX Those who make a home in the wastelands of Korelis have a culture all their own. While in the recent past great battles between barons and rebels would take place, resulting in much loss for the wasteland, these scores are settled on the race track. Whoever wins the Nitro Grand Prix determines who leads the people of the wasteland until the next annual race. Most participants are benevolent and many just race for the fun of the sport itself, but this year a ...violent former baron has joined the fray. During test trials the baron Roadkill would run his opposition off the road with no regard for their safety. Three souped-up racers have teamed up in order to make sure the baron Roadkill doesn't win Nitro Grand Prix, as his vision of the wasteland is one of poison and fear. Franca the Motogirl, Circuitbreak Hilaria and Griz Jetboost won't let Roadkill's vision of the future come to pass, and will crush him fair and square during this year's Nitro Grand Prix race!

CRUSADE GAMEPLAY UPDATES As many of you have pointed out, the recent changes to Crusade events have made them too one-dimensional. To correct for this and to avoid Crusade becoming a grind, as well as to provide opportunities for play, Overkill, Ultrakill, and Secret Bosses will be returning to Crusade events! Teamwork will be more important than ever with the return of Secret Bosses, so rally your Guild together to top the leaderboard. ... BOSS DIFFICULTY We've also noticed that players have been unable to make meaningful progress during the Crusade event. We will be adjusting the difficulty, starting with this Crusade, so that event progression is more attainable. Overkill objectives will also be reduced accordingly to match current event difficulty levels.

A NOTE FROM THE DEVS Greetings heroes. We recently made changes to Legendary to increase player choice in the game. This was something we hoped would contribute towards the vibrant and passionate player community that has developed around Legendary. To celebrate their return, Frenzy Bosses will drop Frenzy Points just for this event. Those points will count toward a one-time global Guild leaderboard, and the top 5 Guilds on the leaderboard this week will have their Guild [tag] added to Frenzy Boss spawns in the next Season! This leaderboard will only be around for this event, so get to battling! We will also be distributing a crate of extra keys to all players so everyone can enjoy the return of Frenzy Bosses and get started on ranking on the leaderboard. This is the first of commitments to making Korelis a better place for all to enjoy. KNIGHTS OF MEIDO It was the discovery of the century; shining suits of armor buried underground that dated back to ancient Meido. The four sets of armor had unique magical properties, each one geared to a specific use case the power of flight, speed, brute force and tactical weapon's use. Once scholars and scientists had completed their analysis of the suits, three were gifted to the guardians of Meido and the last was kept in the research facility. Among the guardians of Me...ido there was a growing sense of unease. The suits seemed to be something much more than fine gold and ancient mechanisms, and while they were stored in the armory many reported strange murmurs coming from within those halls. Meanwhile in the research facility one scientist found the sinister whispering too much to bear. The suit stored there was the tactical weapons unit. The scientist was unable to resist the echoing calls any longer, and upon donning the suit his mind was no longer his own. As the armored scientist rampaged through the facility he once cared for, the guardians of Meido arrived, their own suits in hand. With trepidation the guardians wore the ancient armor, fearful of the power these suits held. However their power was the only way to match the power of the malevolent rampaging suit. With the help of this mysterious ancient technology, the guardians would save Meido and countless lives from the possessed scientist!

A GIFT FROM THE STARS Ancient society holds many mysteries; among them a great curiosity unearthed after Fusivius's volcanic attack. At first the object appeared to be a simple stone tablet with an inscription written in an unknown language. As the adventurers who discovered the stone laid their hands upon it, the text glowed and misty visions encircled the party, closing in. These spectres were strange yet familiar and they appeared calm as they reached out to the adventurer...s. As these two worlds collided the Korelians who had found the stone tablet found themselves transported through time. As they rose and caught their breath, the spirits who had brought them to this ancient land disappeared. In front of the new arrivals was a great pyramid, not unlike those they had seen in historical tomes. Before the Korelians could fully understand where they were, a dissonant howl split the air and a giant reptilian claw appeared to grasp the pyramid. Stumbling backwards, the adventurers were steadied by the spirits that had summoned them, now taking corporeal form. "Fight with us if you have any hope of returning home!" whispered Uplifted Isis, as Mechanubis and Starblessed Pharoah tossed the Korelians weapons. The battle against Ammit was about to begin, and the secrets of the ancients would soon revealed!

Welcome back to Guild Spotlight. Were shining the spotlight on some of the finest guilds who get together and jump into battle in Legendary. This week, we look at the wild pack of the inferno known as Howlin DevilDogs. Master Ace023 is the Guild Leader for Howlin DevilDogs, a guild that got its name to honor the men and women of the Marines. While the guild founder was a Marine, the Howlin DevilDogs are a family-friendly guild of all ages and of both VIP and free-to-play Leg...endary players. Theyre all in it for the fun of weekly events, the honor of GvG, and the glory of killing bosses. Like the Marines, the Howlin DevilDogs are looking for new recruits. If you like to have fun, the guild is looking for you. The Howlin DevilDogs are looking for anyone willing to participate in chat (remember to keep it clean, soldier) and jump into GvG daily. If you enjoy talking about your pets, thats a pleasant bonus. Ace didnt initially set out to become a Guild Leader, but once he was given the position, hes run into some challenges. The bigger challenges including enforcing guild rules and also keeping the guild competitive in GvG. Theres also the matter of keeping everyone on the same page, which can mean quelling sarcastic uprisings with the occasional gift. At the end of the day, the Howlin DevilDogs are a supportive group. While they stay competitive in GvG, they also aim to help each other get better. Ace points to guild members to who love to help others build decks, as well as members who make videos filled with tips on becoming a better Legendary player. Once all the fighting is done, remember that Sarcasm and pets are welcome!

THE LONGEST WINTER In all recorded history of Korelis the season of winter was harsh but ultimately rewarding. This bitter cold was necessary for the rebirth that came with every spring. In the long darkness of night the citizens of Korelis could rest and make peace among one another as they shared hot meals and warm hearths. However, a being has emerged from deep within Korelis's mantle that threatens this familiar, peaceful winter. Fusivius burns brightly in his wicked cor...e; a volcanic force of nature awakened now, like so many other evils, by the force of the crystal. The snowcapped mountains that dotted the landscape were torn asunder and lava burst out of them with great force as Fusivius made his way to the surface. Without the frost, the biting winds, and the long nights that winter once promised Korelis may never see a break from the impassioned heat of wartime. Magma and ash coated kingdoms and villages alike, sending citizens fleeing in all directions. Winter itself must fight against this melting monstrosity, and three heroes stand ready to do battle against Fusivius. Prince Permafrost, Baroness Lumi, and Forever Knight Umbra must join forces with the heroes of Korelis and reclaim this season in winter's name!

DRAGON RIDERS OF KORELIS All across Korelis dark forces had grown in strength from the rising influence of the crystal. Most distressing of all was a portal that had appeared in the heart of the kingdom from which otherworldly roars seemed to echo endlessly. Gathering in front of the portal, villagers saw a gigantic being begin to emerge, slowly but surely. Initial attacks using conventional weapons such as swords and arrows were repelled by the beast's tough hide, and fright...ened knights scurried back to their castle keeps. The scholars of Korelis had feared this day of reckoning would come. The reawakening of the ancient being, Apocrypto had surely been brought upon by the growing power of the crystal. Luckily the people of Korelis had salvation within reach; the esteemed Dragon Riders climbed atop their mounts and charged into battle. Legend has it that only these united Dragon Riders have the power to stop the annihilation of Korelis at the claws of Apocrypto!

DOOM TRAIN TO OBLIVION In the westernmost desert of Korelis, a train carrying the souls of the dead has gone off the rails. Whatever chaotic spirit had possessed the dead of Arturo's cemetery has journeyed west, and now threatens the living with a powerful, otherworldly locomotive. News of the deadly runaway train had reached the town of Josie's Gulch and sheriff Walker sprung into action, assembling a posse of the bravest men and women he knew. Chief among the posse was Anni...e, a young woman with a gift; while she was a crack-shot with a pistol, she never needed one as she was able to craft magical bullets from the very ether. Walker too was gifted, the shield on his chest that symbolized his status as a lawman was no mere object; he was able to conjure a simulacrum of that star to protect himself and the town of Josie's Gulch from danger. As Annie and Walker took position to attack the Doom Train on the outskirts of town and prevent disaster for Josie's Gulch, a mysterious drifter appeared to them. The Inglorious Outlaw introduced himself through a cloud of cigar smoke, smirking as he explained he had been trailing the Doom Train for days and finally caught up to it right outside of town. The outlaw had hoofed it to Josie's Gulch to warn the people, but found Walker and Annie first - and so they agreed to all work together to take the Doom Train down for good. The otherworldly train whistle pierced the night, and the trio could hear the engine roaring alongside the cackles and screams of the dead within the locomotive. The fight was on - Walker leapt onto the back of the train and prayed all would go according to plan.

GUILD SPOTLIGHT The Umbrella Academy The Umbrella Academys guild leader is xmenrogue, who has overseen the guild since July 2017. As one might have guessed, she and her husband are big fans of The Umbrella Academy series and have named the guild after it. Theyre looking for a few good level 50 players to join their ranks. Like any good team pulled from the comics, xmenrogue hopes her players can band together for GvG Wars on a weekly basis. While xmenrogue didnt start off... as The Umbrella Academys guild leader, she soon found herself taking on the position and all of its responsibilities. The previous GL had left Legendary and left her the guild. It proved to be a momentous day for xmenrogue, as she had prior guild leader experience and relished the opportunity to be a guild leader for Legendary. Most teams in comics tend to break up due to a lack of communication and xmenrogue does not wish to see that fate befall The Umbrella Academy. Thats why shes looking for players who will engage with N3twork chat regularly. In fact, finding communicative players has been her biggest challenge as GL. But with patience and a set list of guild rules, she hopes The Umbrella Academy can thrive. There are some ways that xmenrogue would love to see the guild leader experience for Legendary grow. Shes hopeful for more ways to incentivize guild activity, beyond the six crate limit. More than that, shed love know what exactly is in the crates so they can be allocated to those who need whats inside. If someone needs gold, why not give them a crate that contains some? The Umbrella Academy does have four guild members who appear to be constants xmenrogues family. Her husband is also an active member of the guild, as are their two sons. If you join the guild, you might hear from them now and then. Just make sure to give their messages a second look, because xmenrogue does note that they dont always check for autocorrect mistakes before hitting Send.

AN ETERNITY...INTERRUPTED. Deep in the woods a solemn cemetery lies abandoned and overgrown. Those who would mourn the dead here have long since passed themselves, and so the only thing that cries over these graves is a lonesome wind. However, there are sentries here who watch over the dead and ensure their eternal rest is a peaceful one. Arturo, Sanctified Keeper walks along the well-worn paths of grief, while Benedicta keeps a watchful eye over the grounds. The Champion of ...the Dead waits far beneath the earth for the day he is called upon to fight for eternal peace. For eons he has slept, while Benedicta and Arturo watched the graveyard fall to silence. That was until recently; a mysterious stirring occurred from within the cemetery, and the long-dead have risen, restless and enraged. The guardians of the dead know that they must end this rampage and allow their charges to rest once more. Arturo and Benedicta call upon the Champion of the Dead, and together they will force these Unsettled Souls to slumber once more.
