Do you know the major color for St. Patricks Day? Thats right, all green, and greenish green, green all around. All shades of green, actually. Thats why we brought you a new recipe of GREEN Trdelnik (Chimney Cake)! Check it out!Stuffed Trdelnick (Chimney Cake) Butter - 100 gr Eggs - 2 Milk - 200 ml Flour - 650 gr Yeast - 30 gr Sugar - 160 gr Salted Caramel Whipped Cream Confetti Sprinkles1. Prepare the brew of yeast. Mix the yeast with quarter of a cup of warm water, one teaspoon of flour, and one teaspoon of sugar. Put in a warm place and leave for 25 minutes.2. Separate the egg whites. Then melt the butter in a small saucepan on low heat. Pour it into a bowl and mix with the milk and two yolks. Combine the mixture with the remaining flour and the brew. Add 150 gr of sugar and salt. Don't forget to leave a spoonful of sugar for sprinkling.3. Knead the dough with your hands until elastic. Put the bowl in a warm place, cover it with a damp cloth and let the dough rise about double the size. 4. Divide the finished dough into several equal parts and roll them all out. Then use a sharp knife to cut each rolled out part into long strips about 5 cm wide. Wrap each strip around a cylinder (at home, you can use a rolling pin or tubes of thick cardboard covered with foil for this purpose) and tuck the edge of the dough neatly.5. Using a cooking brush, thoroughly brush all sides of the whites onto the base of the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Then roll the dough in sugar.6. Bake for about twenty minutes, turning the cakes a couple of times so that the dough browns on all sides. Take the finished cakes out of the oven, cool slightly, and remove from the bases. 7. Place them on a platter and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Brush the inside with salted caramel or whipped cream and sprinkle with colored confetti.Comment down below with your green Trdelniks (Chimney Cakes)!
